Yoga On A Horse (it's wonderful!) – Part One
Yoga on horseback is new to me, but I can safely say it can be wonderful. BUT it could be dangerous – for you and the horse – so be very careful always.
Have a helper there to hold the horse, a quiet calm environment, and ideally a yoga instructor to help you adapt your poses to horseback. And of course your horse needs to be quiet, calm and strong too.
Putting too much weight in the wrong place will hurt your horse obviously – and if she moves suddenly, you’ll end up on the ground. So use some common sense and always err on the side of caution.
